Newton Optometry Clinic was originally a satellite location of Pacific eyeDoctors® on Scott Road. Dr. Susy Pierazzo bought the practice in 1997, and Newton Optometry has since grown into a thriving clinic proudly serving our local community. We thank our patients who continue to come from all over BC for our friendly, knowledgeable and professional service!
We bring a personalized approach to our services, where we work together to help you understand your ocular health as well as the treatments, products and services that will best suit your unique needs. We believe that maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership between patient and doctor, and that’s why we encourage our patients to ask questions and share health information. We invite you to meet our doctors and staff below, or contact us today to get started.
Dr. Pierazzo was raised in London, Ontario, and moved to BC after completing the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo in 1989. She helped establish the Newton Optometry Clinic that year and subsequently purchased the practice in 1997. Four years later, she expanded and renovated the office to its present location. It’s contemporary yet comfortable style sets the tone for the quality of eye care Dr. Pierazzo has worked hard to provide - caring and compassionate with a commitment to eye healthcare for all ages.
Since her son’s birth in 2005, she has been enjoying part-time practice along with full-time parenthood and family vacations!
